Job Description

1. Job Purpose:

To plays a crucial role in an organization's financial management and strategic planning. This position involves working closely with various departments to provide financial insights, support decision-making processes, and ensure the MFG's financial health.

2. Main Responsibilities:

2.1 Strategic Planning and Analysis:

  • Partner with leadership team and senior management to develop financial strategies.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to support business decisions.
  • Identify financial risks and opportunities to guide strategic direction and to be in-lined with MFG’s policies/guidelines

2.2 Financial Reporting:

  • Oversee the preparation of financial reports and presentations for senior leadership.
  • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
  • Develop and maintain financial models and forecasts.

2.3 Budgeting and Forecasting:

  • Lead the budgeting process across the organization.
  • Monitor budget performance and provide variance analysis.
  • Update financial forecasts regularly to reflect current business conditions.

2.4 Performance Management:

  • Work with function and department heads to improve financial performance.
  • Implement performance management systems and tools.

2.5 Stakeholder Management:

  • Act as the primary financial contact for various business units.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Communicate financial insights and recommendations clearly and effectively.

2.6 Compliance and Risk Management:

  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards including the company structure and business practice comply with Tax, Legal and other regulations in Business
  • Identify and mitigate key business risk and risk mitigations especially on financial perspectives.
  • Oversee internal controls and audit processes.

2.7 Team Leadership:

  • Lead and develop a team of finance professionals.
  • Provide mentorship and professional development opportunities.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance team culture.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including senior management, business units, and external partners.

 

Qualification

  • Strong command of spoken and written English and computer literacy
  • Be self-motivated, a strong team player and enable to work under pressure and coordinate/prioritize workload.
  • In-depth ability of analytical skills, strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Be able to travel as required.

Additional Information

At least 15 years in accounting / financial role and in feasibility study, with 8 years in management level with international business exposure.
